Entertainment and Intellectual Property
Music, Theater, Television, Movies and More
Practicing in the Northwest has allowed us to be exposed to artists involved in music, theater, television, and movies, as well as various businesses related to these arts. As such, we have discovered that the law involving entertainment ventures and intellectual property is an art as much as it is technical skill.
A person’s creative work product deserves protection. Art, however, is also generally a commercial business and artists and related businesses need need legal representation for contractual matters involving leases, booking and agency agreements, employment contracts, and other non-creative business needs.
Representational Experience:
We have been fortunate to have worked in the past with artists as diverse as Ted Nugent, Metallica, and Def Leppard, as well as local musicians and booking agents. We also represent business involved in everything from equipment rentals for tours, bus and aircraft leases, and sponsorship contracts.
We also represent venues such as the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater in Ridgefield, WA
